Terms of Use & End User License Agreement

Effective date: April 22, 2026

These Terms of Use also serve as the End User License Agreement (the "EULA") for the SnapLog AI mobile application.

Operator

SnapLog AI is offered by Computer Force SRL, Timișoara, Romania (“we,” “us”). By using the SnapLog AI mobile application or related services, you agree to these Terms of Use.

The service

SnapLog AI is provided to help you keep a personal log of readings from photos of compatible devices. The app is provided as is and as available. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or product improvement.

Not medical advice

SnapLog AI is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is not a substitute for professional medical care. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.

Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for account security where sign-in is used. You agree not to misuse the service (for example, attempting to access others’ data, disrupt infrastructure, or use the app in violation of law).

Subscriptions and in-app purchases

Available subscriptions

SnapLog AI may offer an optional auto-renewable subscription (for example, "SnapLog AI Pro") that unlocks additional features. The current subscription title, duration, and price—including any introductory offer, free trial, or price-per-unit where applicable—are displayed inside the app on the subscription purchase screen before you confirm a purchase, and are also shown on the relevant app store product page.

Billing and auto-renewal (Apple App Store)

If you purchase a subscription through the Apple App Store:

  • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • The subscription automatically renews for the same duration at the then-current price unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time by going to your Apple ID account settings in the App Store after purchase.
  • Where a free trial or introductory offer is available, any unused portion of the free trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

Billing and auto-renewal (Google Play)

If you purchase a subscription through Google Play:

  • Payment will be charged to your Google Play account (or the payment method associated with it) at confirmation of purchase.
  • The subscription automatically renews for the same duration at the then-current price unless auto-renewal is turned off before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time in the Google Play Store app under Account → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
  • Where a free trial or introductory offer is available, you will be charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
  • If a renewal payment fails, Google Play may place the subscription in a grace period or on hold in accordance with Google's policies; during that time access to paid features may be limited or suspended.

Cancellation

You may cancel a subscription at any time by turning off auto-renewal in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. If you cancel:

  • Your subscription will remain active and you will keep access to paid features until the end of the current billing period that has already been paid for.
  • Auto-renewal is disabled, so you will not be charged for any future periods.
  • No refund or partial refund is provided for the remaining, unused portion of the current billing period. For example, if you cancel a yearly plan after 6 months, your subscription continues until the end of month 12 and no refund is issued for the remaining months. The same applies to monthly plans cancelled part-way through a month.

Refunds

We do not issue pro-rated or partial refunds for unused time within a paid subscription period. Refunds for in-app purchases and subscriptions are handled by the store through which the purchase was made (Apple App Store or Google Play) in accordance with that store's own refund policy, and are granted at that store's discretion. Please submit any refund request directly to the applicable store — we are not able to process refunds for purchases made through a store.

Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law (for example, mandatory cancellation or withdrawal rights for consumers in the European Union, United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions, to the extent those rights apply and have not been lawfully waived for digital content whose supply has already begun with your prior consent).

Changes to price or features

We may change subscription prices or the features included in a subscription. Where required by the applicable app store or by law, we will provide advance notice and obtain any consent required before a price change applies to you.

Fair use of AI features

SnapLog AI uses a third-party artificial intelligence service (currently Google Gemini) to read values from photos of your health devices and to generate optional motivational messages ("AI features"). Running these AI features has a real per-request cost to us, so access is governed by the following fair-use rules. By using the app you agree to these rules.

What normal usage looks like

SnapLog AI is designed to support typical personal health tracking. For most users this means up to a few scans per day across a small number of device categories (for example, one morning weight, one or two blood-pressure readings, one glucose check, one oximeter check, one temperature). Even an active user managing several conditions will normally stay well under fifteen scans per day and fewer than one hundred per week. The AI coach messages are produced only in response to your own scans and are therefore capped in the same proportion.

Automated limits

To protect the service and keep it affordable for all users, the app and our servers enforce automated limits on AI requests. These limits include, without being limited to:

  • a minimum interval between consecutive scans;
  • a maximum number of scans within a short time window (burst protection);
  • a daily and weekly maximum number of AI scans per user;
  • a daily maximum per device category (for example per-weight, per-blood-pressure, etc.);
  • a daily maximum number of AI coach messages per user;
  • rejection, after a confirmation dialog, of attempts to re-analyze the exact same image more than a small number of times within 24 hours.

When you reach a limit, the app will display a message and the feature will resume automatically after the applicable cooldown (typically the next day, UTC). We may adjust these limits from time to time to reflect actual costs and abuse patterns, and we will do so in good faith and without singling out individual users.

Prohibited uses

You agree not to:

  • use the AI features for any purpose other than logging your own personal health measurements or those of people you are personally assisting with their consent;
  • submit images that do not depict a health-device reading (e.g. random internet images, screenshots of other apps, QR codes, memes, documents, photos of text for OCR, etc.) in order to use SnapLog AI as a general-purpose image-recognition or text-generation tool;
  • submit, re-submit, or automate the submission of images at a frequency higher than a human taking photos of a device (including but not limited to using scripts, bots, emulators, modified builds of the app, or multiple accounts to bypass per-user limits);
  • attempt to circumvent, disable, probe, or reverse-engineer the abuse-prevention measures described in the Automated limits section (including App Check, rate limits, image de-duplication, and account-deletion guards);
  • create multiple accounts, share accounts, or use disposable or throw-away email addresses to multiply free AI scans or avoid limits;
  • use the AI features to generate content that is harmful, illegal, or that violates the terms of the underlying AI provider (Google).

Consequences of abuse

If your usage appears inconsistent with the What normal usage looks like section or violates the Prohibited uses section, we may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice:

  • temporarily throttle, suspend, or permanently revoke your access to the AI features;
  • block further AI scans while leaving read-only access to your existing data;
  • cancel or refuse to renew paid subscriptions, subject to applicable consumer-protection law and the rules of the platform store (Apple App Store / Google Play) through which the subscription was purchased;
  • delete automation-related data, artifacts, or accounts created to circumvent these rules.

A paid subscription does not grant unlimited AI usage. It removes the free-tier cap and gives you the normal-usage allowance described in the What normal usage looks like section. It is not a licence to run unlimited or automated AI requests.

Reporting abuse or a false positive

If you believe you hit a limit by mistake, or you need a temporarily raised allowance for a legitimate reason (for example, a medical professional tracking multiple patients with their consent), contact us via our support page with your account email and a short description. We will review in good faith.

License grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Computer Force SRL grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use SnapLog AI on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, sell, sublicense, rent, or otherwise redistribute SnapLog AI or any part of it, except to the extent such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.

Your use of SnapLog AI is also subject to the terms of the store from which you obtained the app:

  • If you obtained SnapLog AI from the Google Play Store, your use is additionally governed by the Google Play Terms of Service and Google's applicable policies.
  • If you obtained SnapLog AI from the Apple App Store, your use is additionally governed by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and by the "Additional terms for Apple App Store users" section below, which Apple requires us to include.

Additional terms for Apple App Store users

The following additional terms apply only to users who download the iOS version of SnapLog AI from the Apple App Store and are required by Apple. If any of the terms in this section conflict with other sections of this document, the terms in this section control for iOS users of SnapLog AI.

Acknowledgement

You acknowledge that this EULA is concluded between you and Computer Force SRL only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Computer Force SRL, not Apple, is solely responsible for the iOS version of SnapLog AI and the content thereof.

Scope of licence (Apple devices)

On Apple-branded devices, the licence granted in the "License grant" section above is further limited to use on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, and as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that SnapLog AI may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with the purchaser via Family Sharing or volume purchasing, where applicable.

Maintenance and support

Computer Force SRL is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services with respect to SnapLog AI, as specified in this EULA or as required under applicable law. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to SnapLog AI.

Warranty

Computer Force SRL is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. In the event of any failure of SnapLog AI to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for SnapLog AI (if any) to you; to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to SnapLog AI. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty will be Computer Force SRL's sole responsibility.

Product claims

Computer Force SRL, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to SnapLog AI or your possession and/or use of SnapLog AI, including but not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that SnapLog AI fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.

Intellectual property rights

In the event of any third party claim that SnapLog AI or your possession and use of SnapLog AI infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Computer Force SRL, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim.

Legal compliance

You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Third party terms

You must comply with any applicable third party terms of agreement when using SnapLog AI (for example, your wireless data service agreement).

Third party beneficiary

You acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third party beneficiaries of this EULA, and that, upon your acceptance of the terms and conditions of this EULA, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this EULA against you as a third party beneficiary thereof.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Computer Force SRL is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of SnapLog AI. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will adjust the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.
